Our Doctor
Dr Valerie Joan Tagwira is a Specialist obstetrician and Gynaecologist based at our Windhoek practice. She has been in Namibia since January 2020, having previously worked in Zimbabwe, England and Wales. She graduated in 1997 from University of Zimbabwe with MBChB.
She worked for many years in Zimbabwe before going to England where she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG, DFRSH). She worked in UK and later served at University of Zimbabwe, School of Medicine as a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from 2010 – 2015.
She is an advocate in the provision of a holistic approach to women’s health, in pursuit of achieving total wellness for women of all ages. She has special interest in Family Planning. An accomplished author with two published novels. Welcome Dr. Valerie Tagwira to our team.
